*Requests aren't guaranteed
All games and provided practice codes are held at the West Monroe Sports & Events Center in West Monroe, LA.
Game nights are typically on Mondays between 5:30-8:30PM. Teams will play at least 1-2 games per night.
Our Youth Leagues are strictly volunteer-based, whether its parents, area coaches, or local players. All coaches are required to complete a background check.
All teams are required to rotate in a circle while playing. This allows equal and fair playing time between all players. Some games and scores may dictate how much your team rotates, but coaches are not allowed to sub in and out players for certain rotations (like real volleyball).
Training is based upon coaches skill level and knowledge of the game. All coaches are volunteered based, and AVA provides coaches with training material and practice plans to run efficient practices. We also provide Skills Trainings before each League Season as well as offer Private Lessons year round.
There are no set practice dates. Each team's coach receives Free Codes to use to book a 1-hour time slot at the West Monroe Sports & Events Center for practices. This code can be used at any time their team is free to practice.
Players are required to wear their team jersey, black spandex/leggings, and athletic tennis shoes. Knee pads are required. A volleyball is not required, but good to purchase for practices and at-home play!
Players are encouraged to wear court shoes / basketball shoes to help with traction on basketball court.
See you on the court soon!
